I LOVE your honesty... I too had Gastric ByPass, 3 years ago, lost 125, recently (over last 4 months) gained 20 lbs...I'm desperate about it.. I've tried the 5 day protein "jump start" and find it helpful. Are you familiar with it...cleans the carbs from the system... My husband has kept his weight off - 4 years post op, he was ALWAYS the one who blew it first... I have to admit - it's hard to live with. I too can't beat up myself...but feel afraid. Your very inspirational... I have to catch this...started a good day today - back to basics... keep telling myself that's what I need to do - go back to basics.

Back to basics? Yes. I am all for it, but not just for gastric bypass folks. ALL folks need to get back to basics! Basics meaning good, fatty grass-fed meat, eggs, raw milk, vegetables and fruit with occasional nuts berries and dark chocolate. America eats WAYYYYY to much flour, corn and soy. I'm very familiar with the 5 day pouch test and protein jumpstart but I've adopted it as a way of life! lol.... You have such a great attitude. You're forgiving and positive. You'll do well in all your endeavors. Thanks, Susan.
