wow lisa, you are so wise. you articulate so much in this post that encompasses conversations i've had that seem to take hours.
i can't believe some a-holes have written you nasty messages on here. (sorry for my crudeness, but i just can't believe how mean people are and it makes me mad.) have they nothing better to do with their time than pass along their negativity? how is that kind of attitude helpful or healing?
i admit i've missed a few blogs, but every single one of your posts i've read are nothing but sincere attempts to understand yourself and heal.
and society and environment do bear some responsibility for the obesity in the united states, heck yeah! but pointing that out isn't negating the responsibility each of us has for our own health and well-being. it's pointing out that we're all responsible, not only for ourselves, but to our world and everyone in it.
