Lisa, I am so there with you. I spent 30 of my 50 years on diets: mostly low fat diets. My only years "off" were age 1-8 and when I was pregnant. I'm still the fattest person in any room, at least in my mind. It has taken a lot for me to shift out of the "fat is bad" paradigm. I have yet to become accepting of my body, but I'm doing better. Congrats on your success!
I am like you when it comes to eating anything fried at a restaurant - I get so sick. When I eat fried foods at home (fried in my beef tallow!), I feel great afterward. I love real food!
One more thing! I'd loooove to catch all your posts, but am the type of person that won't think to go reading unless the post comes to my inbox...have you ever thought of adding a Feedburner email subscription option on your site? If you do, please let me know! Thanks, Kelly p.s. Stumbling this great post right now...
Thanks so much!! Ok, I've added the email subscription option from Feedburner as you suggested. Awesome idea!! Thanks for directing me to a great service :-)

Lisa,
Your story is inspiring! I think it's awesome that the good food didn't make you feel bad. Keep up the good work!
Katie
