"Womanish pink"? Seriously, did you really write "womanish pink". What makes pink womanish? (other than societal electrotypes I always hear you speaking out against.)
Social stereotypes about the color pink reflect something real about how society associates the color pink with femaleness and the color blue with maleness. It may be a social construct. It may have arisen arbitrarily then grew to become part of how we say, I dunno, associate red and green with Christmas.
When I was choosing a color highlighter 10 years ago I deliberately chose the pink because it struck me as "themed".
And what's with the sudden hostility toward my writing? Of all the things to comment about THAT'S what you chose?
You're acting like a finger pointing hall monitor going "See see I caught you contradicting yourself! Nyahhh!!"
So I guess I can take from his bitchy little post that Aj's life isn't going anywhere near as well as Lisa's. Pity, but I guess that's a way to tell who your friends really are.
