I understand what you have been through. Been there. I used to 400 lbs, too and I had open Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery on July 11, 2002. I never had any revisions, but I did regain half of the weight I lost. I understand and respect your personal battle with weight and loving yourself.

My own health became so bad when I relapsed after surgery that I was terrified that someone would find me dead in my bedroom one day. I had to do something. I have three adult children, one grandson and many reasons to continue living. Thankfully, a living angel connected me to 12 step program that brought me to the realization that I use food the same way drug addicts use drugs. This program and the loving help of God, has brought my weight down to 190 pounds. I was 12 years old the last time I weighed under 200 pounds. I am now 52 years old, soon to be 53.

I'm not suggesting that you do this program. But if any of your readers are desperate and terrified of dying from weight related causes like I was, there is help. And it is free. Just google "food addicts" and/or "FA" and they will find the program.
