Forgive me, but I beg to differ. You ARE a warrior. How else do you think you made it from 2007 to 2011, you BADASS!
Lisa, You know I love your blog, it is the first thing I read in the morning, every morning. I read it because it seems we have walked the same journey... same mother issues, same weight issues... not exactly the same health issues but health issues none the less.
I have something that I would like you to consider... I see a lot of regret about the past. Please consider that ALL things happen for a reason. That everything has a purpose. Even those things we view as a negative. I have a very simple core belief that has completely freed me from regret... Every experience, every choice, everything that happened before is what has brought me to where I am today. And today I am awesome. And so are you.
The experiences you have had in the past not only created the you of today, but because of those experiences of the past you are able to reach out and touch people (such as myself) who you have never met and may never meet... because of those experiences others going through some of the same things find hope that they too can come out the other side, stronger, happier, healthier.
I agree with Tinfoil Hattie, You have always been a warrior... The difference is then you thought it, now you know it.
