young and healthy. love the ring to those words. :) i hope you will write your wls memoir, if that seems appropriate for your destiny, because the health care profession could really use another voice of reason and a first-person narrative regarding potential long term complications. as a nurse, i would be at the head of the line to hear more on the subject, especially from someone like yourself who has the knowledge and personal experience. best wishes for continued good healing. as always, peace to you!! <3

Just keep telling your body to build up the hemoglobin and eat your healing foods and IT WILL come. The body is amazing, yes?

I spent 2 decades feeling invalid. Now, I speak health to my body, bones and joints and blood and liver and everything. I walk and tell myself to heal. I go lie down to sleep and tell myself to heal. I tell my brain to order the right hormones and processes to help me become better. I think I had gotten into this "I'm old and sick and useless" mentality and that added to the whole burden.

I'm so glad the doc said that. YOUNG AND HEALTHY. I'm gonna tell myself that, too. hahahha. As I do tend to think OLD too much. Yes, I"m 51, but mind over matter, mind over matter. ; )

Oh, and yeah. I had the Once UPon a Diet blog before I started the new one a year and 4 days ago to focus on goals more clearly.

I don't care that our philosophies diverge in areas. I know we both just want to have vibrancy and health and live with gusto--and we both believe in REAL FOOD..the healing properties of what grows and moves and swis and flies on this earth.

Let's stay YOUNG and get HEALTHIER. :D
