Between Visits

Courage Lisa!

I know from personal experience that it's really hard being in the hospital--even when you have family members visiting frequently and bringing lots of love along with them.

Anesthesia can really play with your brain, and depression is not at all unusual. The things that we learn to deal with and put on the back burner in our everyday lives suddenly become front and centre and, in our fragile physical and emotional state, we just can't push them aside as we usually do.

I'm glad you're able to blog and that your good friend is getting your messages to the "outside" world.

You'll be home and your recovery will really speed up.

What a lovely entry. I was stunned by the first story about the man and his granddaughter. The line breaks are hard to read, but I think they work here because it was all like poetry :)My very best wishes for you as you recover!
