I was just wondering if you've heard anything about magnesium/calcium tablets. I've been taking them for quite a few months now and they've really helped with (ahem) regularity. No effect on my weight, but it's fantastic being (ahem) regular, for once in my life!
I agree with you about getting what you need from food, but I'm the kind of person who can eat a bag of prunes, washed down with a liter of prune juice, followed by a bag of apricots...and still not have anything happen. That's why the mag/cal combination has been a godsend for me. Not saying anyone has to follow my lead. We all find our own way (hopefully).
I've been taking a magnesium supplement for the past month, and I do think it has helped with my energy levels-- though the epsom salt bath sounds like a better idea, as pills come with all those absorption problems. Good luck! :-)
How do you take Epsom salt baths without a tub? ;-( I have the epsom salt, just no tub. Taking a foot bath just doesn't really cover it, right? Dammit, when you want to turn into Thumbelina, you can't!

Hey NewMe!I know nothing about supplements. I would always try my best to get my minerals from food!

A foot bath DOES cut it! Soak your feet in epsom salts. It'll do the job.
