Heroic Light Bulb Changer

Heroic? Absolutely! It's far easier and "safer" to listen to the voice in your head that's holding you back.
But let's be honest, it's not really living if you always follow the safe and easy way. Difficulty and change is how we grow.
But who am I telling? We know this already.
Thanks for your comment on my blog too. You've been inspiring a lot of people, and you've inspired me to keep a daily blog of my own.
You've inspired me to build and grow and realise that nothing is insurmountable.

Excellent work! but obviously I need to schedule that way-overdue ophthalmologist's appt for myself; when I first glanced at your title I thought it read "HETERO Light Bulb Changer"!

I really hate to bring this up, but can that fixture *take* a 100-watt bulb? If your house is as old as mine (a bit north of you up the Turnpike) you may not have seen the little embossed printing on the fixture that says you can't use anything higher than a 60 watt bulb in it.

The rooms in this apartment that have ceiling lights all have that warning on them, and believe me, I *know* how gloomy a 60 watt bulb can be when it's the only light in the room!

Just wait until they outlaw incandescant bulbs like California is doing and we're stuck with those twirly fluorescant bulbs that barely emit any light.

Hmmm, good question! I'll ask the rental office. These apt were built after ww2...not sure how many upgrades they've made since then!
