Amen! I have been a fan of corrupt clergy for most of my adulthood (Reverend T Lawrence Shannon, Mr Brocklehurst, Thomas a Becket, Dom Claude Frollo and for some reason I always put Inspector Javert in the mix). The Borgias entertains everything I find sexy about the church (cassocks, broken celibacy and flagellation... oh, and Jeremy Irons in a Mitre). I have also been a staunch Henry Higgins fan some twenty-four years; Jimbo Villiers? I've only known about since last April. I know little about Jimbo (save the yarns spun by Our John) yet Higgins... he and I are Astral Twins! Oh Lisa... I'm SO with you here!
It's nice to know I have a partner in these strange obsessions! I read that little Lucrezia was in the latest version of Jane Eyre. I'll have to see it now.
