Hey Lisa, Many people in my family run low on our normal body temps. Mine runs around 96.8. When I was in grade school and felt "feverish" it would be 99 and I would not even get a call to my mom. Finally my mom had to write a note that if I felt that I needed her to be called they should. 99 is high for me. Now my daughter also runs low, and has febrile seizures to boot. So if she has 99 she gets advil to try and prevent a febrile seizure. One pediatrician thought I should still wait until 101 to give her medicine. Then she kept having seizures once her temp reached 100.5! Needless to say we have a different pediatrician.

You may have already checked your thyroid out thoroughly, but if not, please do! You may be hypothyroid.
