This is great news - very pleased about it.
You don't know me, but I'm a doctor (a young one) in the UK who stumbled across your site. I have been reading a few weeks - I like your intelligent approach to life and I wish you all the best. I also agree with you about a lot of your views on weight. I have had my own trivial struggles with weight (nothing like yours) - but enough to know the issue is nowhere near as simple as people and particularly doctors like to believe it to be. I am actually a medically healthy weight now but my experiences have taught me a lot. Anyway enough about me. I hope the knee operation gives you a whole new burst of life!
