well the other trend is that as you lose weight and can show up with numbers, there are many comments. when you're struggling especially with the mental side, the comments thin out.
Rosi - absolutely do. The moment I post a "loss" -- instant comments, gratification, applause, even. But, a gain? Not really. Often, I will simply not bother, either way.
I see you used an image I painted, it would have been nice to have been asked, or at least informed. Plus it wasn't even the finished painting. You should have used this one.

Oh yes! I noticed this phenomenon too!
I remember when I lost a lot of weight. I was "awesome" so long as I was shrinking. Anything else happening in my life, nobody wanted to know.
