Because I know that quality food and meals affect my health--as well as supplements, which lowered my blood sugar sans medication--I won't skimp on that. I'd rather give up jewelry, cds, dvds, clothes, new shoes. But I want my organic fresh produce and organic meats and eggs and dairy. I want fresh organic herbs and good spices and my Ezekiel Bread and organic sprouted tortillas.
I notice the difference when I eat crap (which I still do , but to a lesser extent) and when I eat fully fresh and good.
So, to me, it's an investment in feeling and looking better. :)
