Hi Lisa - I'm also a gastric bypass patient. Mine was almost 18 months ago. I am doing well and nearly at goal, though I'd like to lose about 10-15 more. In the past several months I've been making the move to more NT ways of eating. It's hard to find WLS patients on this path. So I'll be reading here to get ideas from you.
Hi, just wanted to let you know your post encouraged me to keep on. I have adrenal exhaustion stage 3, eight children at home, an amazing husband and a gracious God. Still, it is horribly difficult to go through, for many reasons. I pretty much already do all the things you mentioned, the 'allowing' myself the rest and not dwelling on my sickness really spoke to me today. so thank you
