Lisa,

Thank you so much for coming to my class to speak. You really were an inspiration for them today, they needed that. Week after week I encourage them to think outside of the box, all of this "Schooling" that is thrown at us does not prepare us fully for the real world. I took it upon myself early in the semester to be the professor that shows everyone the realistic side of food and nutrition. How it affects lives and how it could potentially save others from experiencing the pain that you have.

Thank God for you Lisa, this is the second time I have heard your story and it shocked the hell out of me again. Talent is like electricity, we do not completely understand it nor do we know fully what it is capable of, we just use it. You have a talent that is so remarkable, it is your ability to move others through your words. I thank you for your faith in nutritionists like me, even when things were at an all time low for you, you still had faith. You have strengthened me once more to do the very best that I can for my patients and my students.

Please continue to push yourself to the limit, always remember that you have the mental power to do anything. Your body is just along for the ride.

Keep me in your prayers as you are in mine.

May God keep you safe always,
Professor Nelson Guadalupe, MS
