spirit writing

First thing in the morning,
grab a notebook.

Empty your mind into the notebook.
Write down all your thoughts, worries,
everything that's on your mind.

Write for as long as  you need to
to quiet your mind.

Then, be silent.

Wait for spirit to speak to you.
Write down everything spirit tells you.
You'll know when spirit is speaking
and you'll know when it's time to stop.

Let it flow from your pen.

When you say to a wise, spiritually developed person
that you want to take your life to the next level
so you can live more intentionally,
and they give you advice on how to do that...
you do that.

It took me 7 pages to empty my mind this morning.
7 pages of concerns over
things I had to do,
people not living up to my standards,
whether people like me or not,
money,
chores,
my bodily discomforts,
and plenty of things beyond my control.

When my mind was virtually emptied of
chattering thoughts,
I began to hear "spirit."

Here's what spirit said:

There's nothing else to do.
Be free as a bird.
Set your mind free like a bird.

Without thoughts my mind is a big empty room
full of potential and space.

Where am I in the big empty room?
I am the room.

Spirit is always buried under thought.

My cats play. I should play.

Don't worry so much.
I've got  you.

I am the big empty room waiting for you to be empty.

Let go of fear.

Pain is an illusion.

You can write a book.

You can write several books.

You can help millions.

My journey is fascinating.

I have big beautiful things to say.

Talk to me all day,
I'm here.

Spirit?
Higher self?
Just another aspect of ego?
Wishful thinking?

The voice of my inner self?
My guardian angel?
God godding??

Not sure.
Don't care.
I'm just here to receive the messages
and act accordingly.
