Delivery pizza?
Not a temptation and there's no dessert on their menu.
Delivery Chinese?
I've been making high protein choices and laying off the rice
and there are no appealing desserts on their menu.
Delivery Japanese?
No cake on their menu.
Drive-thru desserts?
I had no money in my wallet on the drive home tonight
AND fast food desserts are too sweet and generally gross.
I'm nauseated just thinking about them.
Now that I'm home
I'm really happy there's no such thing as delivery cake.
If there were, I'd eat cake till I passed out.
I'm so tired I could cry.
I just ate the last of my beef and spinach soup.
I'm nice and full.
But still.
I'm really glad there's no such thing as delivery cake.
Cuz right now, I want cake more than I want sleep.
I want the sweet doughy joy topped with thick icing
bursting with vanilla smell.
Soothing cake.
Delicious cake.
Cake the substitute for a massage.
Cake the precursor to sleep.
Cake the substitute for a sensible dessert made from raw yogurt and cacao.
Cake the cool sweet edible sponge of comfort and joy.
No cake in the house.
No chance of it being delivered to my door.
No cake.
Whew!
Thank God.
By the time I'm out in the world with money and the wherewithal
to buy it, my cake lust will have subsided.
What will I do to honor this craving right now?
Have a nice chocolate Miracle Whey protein shake made with raw milk and added probiotics.
Miracle Whey good.
No cake.
Sleepy now.

So it's not as good as cake BUT a nice glass of milk with a little vanilla (or almond extract)and whatever type of sweetner you are using ( I use a packet of stevia) is like heaven. It's like the bottom of a vanilla milkshake but without the guilt.
